You really can't get any closer to the heart of Edinburgh, Scotland's beautiful capital city, than at World's End Close Apartment. It is to be found in one of the traditional 'closes' or alleyways off the famous Royal Mile between the Castle and the Palace of Holyrood, in the Old Town and is within walking distance not only of all the historic sights of the city, but also of a host of famous restaurants, pubs, and entertainment venues.
A unique 'turnpike' spiral stone staircase takes you up to the apartment on the top (fourth) floor. And the climb is amply repaid by the views from the windows over the roofs of the city. Immediately below, there are trees and a pretty back wynd (where you can quite often find free parking.) Inside, the apartment is very peaceful with no noise from the Royal Mile.
Inside, the apartment surprises with how light and spacious it is. The attractive hall/dining room leads to a comfortable sitting room with a vaulted ceiling, genuine Adam cornices, rose and fireplace where there is a gas-fired stove for cosy evenings in. A well-equipped kitchen, a large double bedroom, also with stove, and compact bathroom complete the accommodation. A broadband connection is available for tenants.
Back down on the street, you may well be hard put to it to decide where to go first! Turn right, and you are within a five minute walk of Holyrood Palace, the Scottish Parliament, Dynamic Earth and the elephant-shaped hill known as Arthur's Seat, which rises above the city and provides scope for lovely walks. Turn left and 10 minutes on foot will bring you to St Giles Cathedral, the Castle, and the Camera Obscura. Another right turn from that route will take you down to the Bridges or down the Mound to Princes Street, shopping heaven there and on George Street, the National Gallery, the Scott Monument and the beautiful Georgian New Town. The apartment really could not be more convenient for everything you could wish to do and see in the city.

Gas and the first £15 of electricity, bedlinen and towels are all 
included in the rental. A well behaved pet is welcome by arrangement.
